Rowayda wears our Bamboo Woven in chestnut.
As you’ve heard by now, your favorite Haute Hijab Wovens got a sustainable makeover. They’re still as beautiful and as soft as always but they’re now made of a more eco-friendly bamboo-based fabric that is considerate of the planet and our modesty.
I’m a chiffon girl I couldn’t remember the last time I’d worn anything other than chiffon, so I was curious to try out the new Wovens. Well, I was very impressed by the Bamboo Wovens, and I loved the feel-good experience of wearing a more sustainably-made hijab. I was also immediately impressed by how comfortable and easy the Wovens were to wrap and wear (and honestly questioned why I ever only wore chiffons to begin with). Over the past couple of weeks, the Wovens have become a staple in my wardrobe.
Below, I share how I’ve styled some of the new Bamboo Wovens for inspiration on how to wear the gorgeous new hues!
Hues of Violet
Perhaps my favorite look of the bunch, this monochromatic purple outfit was comfortable but cool. I started with a matching lavender set (as a nod to the fall trend of coordinated sets), but any top and pants would work. I then added the Bamboo Woven hijab in violet, which was in the same color family but in a darker shade that really made the look special. I paired it with casual white sneakers, which worked with the oversized fit of the top to give the look a casual feel.
Sage is the New Pink
Sage is the new millennial pink. You heard it here first, folks! This beautiful, muted color has been taking over runways and retail stores alike. When I painted my bike earlier in the summer, I had no idea that I’d have a perfectly matching hijab! I wore a comfortable, creamy turtleneck with balloon jeans in a similar color and threw on some beat up sneakers for a casual, comfortable but super cute look.
Rich Chestnut for the Fall
I’d been on the hunt for the perfect brown hijab for ages before laying my eyes on this beauty. I decided to go for an effortless dressed up look: I started with a crisp, white, oversized shirt and paired it with leather trousers in a very similar shade to the Bamboo woven hijab in chestnut. I accessorized with a canvas bag that incorporated both white and brown and layered gold necklaces and cat-eye sunnies on top. Finally, I finished the look with white sneakers. (I’m sensing a theme here!)
The Warmth of Stone
The even more muted cousin of the sage Woven hijab, this hijab in stone is simply stunning. As a self-proclaimed suit addict (is there a support group for people with a suit in every color of the rainbow?), I have a suit in the same color as the hijab. I chose to ditch the blazer for a flowy, white chiffon top that matched the white sneakers and added a relaxed pouch bag to complete the outfit.
Overall, I’ve been obsessed with the new Haute Hijab Wovens, and the array of different beautiful hues allows for endless possibilities of outfits. I've shown you outfits with four colors, but there are much more to choose from! I styled them in easy, comfortable, casual outfits because the hijabs were so easy and comfortable to wear. I know sneakers dominated my ensembles, but these hijabs easily pair with denim and boots as well for that classic fall vibe!
