With Ramadan around the corner, it’s never too early to start planning your Eid outfit. This Eid-ul-Fitr, as we all know, will be different from the others we’ve celebrated due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Even going into Ramadan, there seems to be a collective heaviness and uncertainty. However, it is important to believe that Allah (S) will make this Ramadan and this Eid special for us.
It is sunnah to dress up and adorn oneself for Eid, and it can help us feel a positive sense of normalcy in these trying times. We should bring our best selves to our prayers, including Eid prayers, though we'll probably be praying them at home! Because why shouldn't we dress up for ourselves and/or our families?
It’s important to start thinking about our Eid outfits now so that we can have the time to order any pieces we may be missing and have them arrive on time even with potential shipping delays. Keep reading for some Eid outfit inspiration!
The Semi-Casual Eid
If you’re thinking of putting together a semi-casual outfit this Eid for a day of indoor celebrations, you’re not alone! Throw on a crisp white shirt and pair of wide leg blue jeans for a fresh but comfortable look. Pair with the HH satin edge chiffon in pearl for added sophistication for a Eid picnic in the yard or to go on a social-distancing walk.
The Dressy Eid
You're not letting a pandemic and quarantine stop you from going all out this Eid! Props to you! Consider pairing a festive maxi skirt with a creamy satin blouse for a fabulous Eid outfit. For added glamour, tie the
HH heritage silk hijab in pastel in your hair at home or as a hijab when you’re snapping a quick Eid photo to share on the Gram!
The Traditional Eid
If you wear traditional clothes every year, then this year should be no exception. Traditional clothing is beautiful, meaningful and in many cases, even comfortable. So, it’s perfect for Eid at home. I don’t have shopping suggestions to give regarding traditional clothing, as there are so many beautiful cultures we all represent! I’m sure you know where to go for your traditional clothing! What I can suggest are HH satin hijabs, which pair perfectly with traditional clothing around the shoulders at home or wrapped as hijabs out or for your shareable photos. These satin beauties have that sheen and luxurious look that elevate your Eid outfit that much more!
There’s a common saying that says, “When you look good, you feel good!” So, changing out of your quarantine PJs and into a cute Eid outfit can make a huge difference in the vibe of your celebrations this Eid. Even if you can’t pull an entire new outfit together, treat yourself to a pretty new hijab to wear with whatever beautiful thing you choose from your closet! Regardless of what you choose to wear, we hope and pray that this Ramadan and Eid will be full of blessings for you and your family.
