There's nothing I love more than going to Sephora and smelling the new fragrances. My only gripe is most mainstream perfumes have no staying power. I've spent a lot of time trying different brands and fragrances from all over the world - here are my fall picks that actually last that are (or have been) part of my own perfume collection!
I never loved Chanel No. 5 but the Eau Première is a lighter, more youthful version with all the sophistication and luxuriousness of the original. It's the *perfect* fall scent with some real lasting power.
What you're smelling: Eau de Première takes the floral notes of the classic No. 5 (jasmine from Grasse fields, owned by Chanel, rose absolute, ylang-ylang from Comoro islands, neroli) refreshed with aldehydes and accompanied with sandalwood, vanilla and vetiver.
Marni Il Profumo is what fall fragrance dreams are made of *swoon.* It's raw and rich, deep and warm with layers of spice and woodsy notes that are still feminine. It's to die for and there's a reason it's always sold out at Neimans and Saks!
What you're smelling: Ethereal spices, eclectic raw woods, and a touch of rose.
This might be the only perfume I actually buy again after finishing an entire bottle! Its luxurious fragrance reminds me of fall sweaters and boots. It's warm and feminine with a Mediterranean note that reminds me of summers in Lebanon.  What you're smelling: A harmony of white flowers, cedar woods and a drop of honey. Orange blossom, jasmine, patchouli, rose, cedarwood.
What you're smelling: Sicilian mandarin, Calabrian bergamot, pepper, peony, violet, lily of the valley, centifolia rose, cedarwood, ambergris, musk.
Last but certainly not least - the perfume you all associate with your weekly HH packages and of course our *beautiful* hijabs is Hermès Eau Des Merveilles! Our signature scent, we spray this intoxicating fragrance on the tissue paper in all our packages. I spent weeks trying to find the *perfect* scent that embodied the spirit of Haute Hijab and the woman who wears it and I knew I found the perfect scent - strong yet warm, bold yet understated and recognizable yet distinct.
What you're smelling: Vetiver, oak, cedar, ambergris accord, Italian lemon, bitter orange, elemi and Indonesian pink pepper, balsam of Peru and tears of Siam.
