As this year comes to an end too, so too does our partnership with FEKKAI. It’s been quite a journey with my hair this year – giving it more love than I ever have and actually going back to my natural hair (thanks quarantine) after nearly 10 years of dying and highlighting. Like many of you, I really took the time to indulge in the little things this year and really gave new meaning to self-care as we quarantined and social distanced the year away.

My ultimate goal was to bring health back to my hair - it’s naturally very straight, thick and shiny. But after 10 years of dying and highlighting, it really needed some love. I started the beginning of the year with the Technician Color Shampoo and Conditioner since my hair was still colored, and as color-care hair products go, it’s definitely best-in-class. It also happens to be my favorite smelling FEKKAI shampoo ;)

As my hair grew out, I tested out the Super Strength line, and it’s by far my fave Shampoo/Conditioner in their collection. I naturally have very oily hair, so it’s a great option especially for my fried ends as this collection helps repair damaged hair to full health. If you have dry hair, I definitely recommend the Brilliant Gloss line; it has cold-pressed organic olive oil that will do wonders for your hair!

Toward the end of the year, FEKKAI came out with their CBD Scalp Calming line and it was right on time. The CBD Calming Supreme Oil was an absolute savior when I really needed to de-stress. With it, I engage in one of my favorite rituals of the week: an intense scalp massage in the shower followed by a great hair day the next day. The Shampoo and Conditioner are my second fave line after the Super Strength line – and did I mention they smell divine!?
