Salam lovely ladies! It's been a while since we've talked hair care (wow, 2012! Where does the time go!?). I'm so excited to announce that we've partnered with FEKKAI, one of *the* best-in-class haircare brands out there to talk hijabi hair care, Fekkai products that work best for you & some fun events, ALL. YEAR. LONG. So, to kick it off, a bit of background about Fekkai. Frederic Fekkai (he's half Egyptian!) made a name for himself styling hair for runway shows and magazine covers which led to his namesake salon operated out of Berdgorf Goodman here in NYC. He went on to found his own line of haircare products in 1996 and eventually sold Fekkai to P&G in 2008. The brand was subsequently sold once more and the products themselves were a departure from the "holy-grail" of hair products they once were. In 2018, Fekkai bought back his company and this year, they have re-launched the brand with a whole new look and feel – and formula. Phew! What a roller-coaster ride. 

Today, Fekkai is focused on superior product once more, and sustainability with bottles that are made from 95% recycled plastic (and 100% recyclable) and a professional formula free of dyes, sulfates, silicones, parabens, and phthalates. They are 100% vegan and cruelty-free and have completely revamped their branding as well! Simply put, the new Fekkai makes you look good + feel good + do good. The new line includes five different collections for your specific needs including Color Care, Volume, Shine-Boosting Gloss, Super Strength and brightening Blondes.
