A question we get all the time is, "How do I know what hijab style looks best on my face?" So I did a little research and made this video for you (with a little help from some of your favorite bloggers)! Check it out:
How to Determine Your Face Shape:
1) Oval
Oval face shapes feature a graceful taper of the features toward the chin, as you can see here on the beautiful Imane Alasry. The forehead and chin are fairly symmetrical and the cheekbones are often prominent.
2) Long
As the name suggests, the Long face shape is defined by elongated features all the way from forehead to chin. Mariah Idrissi is a great example of this gorgeous shape!
3) Round
Round face shapes occur when the width and length of the face are nearly the same. Ideal hijab styles for round face shapes, like the one you see here on the stunning Habiba da Silva, will balance the roundness and accent the cheekbones.
4) Heart
If your face tapers strongly towards your chin, you likely have a Heart face shape, similar to the lovely Leena Asad. This type is defined by a pointier chin and can also feature a prominent forehead.
5) Square
Square face shapes occur when the forehead, cheekbones and jawline are almost the same width, as seen here on the gorgeous Ascia al Faraj. The jaw is usually prominent and square in shape.
6) Diamond
The least common face shape, Diamond face shapes are defined by having lots of unique angles and are typically widest near the temples, as you can see from the beautiful Yasemin Kanar.
Once you've figured out your own face shape, be sure to check out the video above for hijab styling tips tailored to you!
