It's hard to believe it's been over a year since we were in Oman! It's still one of my favorite trips and destinations to date. (Be sure to check our Part I!) For the second half of our stay in Oman we switched resorts to The Chedi (it is to DIE - wait til you see the pics!) and we did more sightseeing at the Sultan Qaboos Mosque, Nizwa (the former capital of Oman) and took the time to hang out with Mayya Al Said @thesewist!
Nizwa is a great place to visit for a half-day. There's this incredible fort and a small souq where you can get the best frankincense and *incredible* silver jewelry.
The view of the city from the top of the fort - aren't the mountains stunning?
Our next stop was the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque - it's absolutely breathtaking! Take the time to visit during visiting hours as women aren't able to go into the main men's section during regular hours.

After spending an entire afternoon at the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, we made our way to our new resort - The Chedi! Between the Al Bustan Palace and The Chedi, it's safe to say we stayed at the two most gorgeous resorts in Muscat.
The lobby of the resort was absolutely beautiful with these hanging lanterns and dome-like cut-outs in the design. We were greeted with cucumber and lemon infused water and hot towels. A receptionist seated us and checked us in while we sat and relaxed :)
Every turn on the grounds was more beautiful than the last. It's probably the most beautiful resort we've ever stayed at.

This pool above right is the longest pool in the UAE! There were 3 pools on the resort, this super long pool, another pool right on the beach and a third pool covered from the sun that was more family friendly.

Of course I got some outfit shots in ;) To see the full post on this ensemble, click here.
We met up with Mayya Al Said of @thesewist <3 We'd been following eachother on social media for so long so it was so amazing to finally meet her in person!
She took us to the most *amazing* authentic Omani restaurant - I had camel biryani! It was my first time trying camel and it was DELICIOUS!
After dinner she took us to the Royal Opera House Muscat - it was breathtaking at night with beautiful pink and purple lights.
We love Oman!!! For more action watch our official vlog and for more of my travels click here or search #HHaroundtheworld on Instagram!
