So, you decided to start wearing hijab? Wonderful! Mabrook and congratulations! We're so happy for you! We understand that making this decision is intensely personal and a major thing in your life as a Muslimah and in your relationship with Allah (S). All of us (who wear hijab) were new to it at some point, and we guarantee you that all of us have struggled with it in some way, shape or form at some point in our lives.
One of our biggest goals at Haute Hijab is to help instill confidence and comfort in your hijab journey. We know Muslim women are the most powerful women in the world, and we want to help you own your power. Your comfort and ease are also important to us, and we are here to be a listening ear and, Insha'Allah, a guiding friend through whatever you are going through.
One of the most beautiful parts about this commitment we've made with Muslim women is that you all are just as committed to helping and supporting each other. We've seen it time and time again in how you converse with each other on our social media pages, in the comments of this blog, in our support group and a myriad of other ways.
With this in mind, as we are brainstorming ways we can better support women who are new(er) to wearing hijab, we decided to turn this question over to you. We asked what advice would you give to new hijabis, and the sheer amount of thoughtful, loving and supportive things you said blew us away.
