Since the start of the pandemic, TikTok has been a place so many of us have turned to for relatable content and everlasting entertainment. But this year, I came to the realization that it provides so much more. It’s a place where you can learn from others, in this case, hijab-wearing boss women on tips and tricks we didn’t even know we needed! Below, I share some examples of hijab-related (and Muslim) content we love, and just a taste of the very talented Muslim women on the platform. Welcome to the #HijabTikTok round-up for 2021!

Modest Fashion Inspo

With COVID having kept us at home for the better part of the last year and a half, it’s safe to say some of us may have forgotten how to dress up or even how to look put together (at least I can say so for myself). Salah (Prayer) Reminders

Although this isn’t specific to hijab, my favorite TikToks this year were ones that consisted of prayer and deen reminders in general, especially when they were with a hint of comedy. @Hauwaryou never disappoints in this category. See for yourself ;)

Hijab Education

One thing we noticed this year was an increased interest in hijab from non-Muslims. Many know we cannot show our hair to men, but don’t know why or any further details. This was a popular hijab education trend we loved to see!
