Join our 10-Day Get Fit Challenge with fitness instructor Zehra Allibhai
As a child, I remember my Saturday School teacher telling us that if something is harmful to your health, it isn’t permissible in Islam. She would go on to tell us that our bodies were an amanah (something Allah (S) entrusts us with), and that we had to return our bodies to Allah (S) even better than how He gave them to us.
As an adult, I always tried to keep this in mind – eating relatively healthy, staying away from excessive sugar, trying to add greens to any and all meals. But one thing I never focused too much on was working out.

Don’t get me wrong – I have signed up for a few gyms in my day, and loved the rush I felt after attending a workout class. It would only be an hour long, but I felt invincible. Not because of the workout per se, but because I was able to do something good for my body, my stamina AND I was able to fit it into my busy schedule. It really is possible!

That’s why I’m so excited to announce our Haute Hijab 10- Day Get Fit Challenge ft. Zehra Allibhai! Starting Monday, October 19th through Friday, October 30th, we will be sharing an online 10-Day Workout Challenge that will be perfect for anyone – busy moms, full-time workers, home-school teachers, students and everyone in between!

Fitness Influencer, Zehra Allibhai (@zallibhai), designed these daily workouts to take no longer than five minutes out of your day, so whether you have a full schedule or not, you’ll be able to join! With quarantine keeping us home the majority of the time, we may be feeling less fit than ever. But why not start now?! In the privacy of our own homes?

We’re calling on our community to come together online as a powerhouse group of women to support and motivate each other to get fit, any any age, any size and with any schedule!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
1. Follow @hautehijab, @hhspottedclub and @zallibhai on Instagram.
2. Save the photo below to your camera roll and post it to your IG Story daily, checking off each day as you go! (Don’t forget! Each time you post the workout card and tag us counts as an entry!)
3. Tag at least one friend to challenge them to join.
4. Use hashtag #GetFitinHH in all your posts to enter! Don’t forget to do so, so we can search and find your posts!
*Helpful tip! Post any of the following throughout the 10-days and tag us as additional entries to the contest!
a. Post-workout photos.
b. Workout videos or photos.
c. Photos of your workout space.
THE PRIZE
The winner will receive three Haute Hijab Sport hijabs of your choice, including our SOLD-OUT tech wrap (if that’s what you want)!! The winner will be chosen at random, and announced on Saturday, October 31st Insha’Allah.

THE DURATION

This challenge will start on Monday, October 19th and end on Friday, October 30th, with a 2-day break on the weekend of the 24th. So if you start late, you have some time to catch up. If you miss a day, it’s ok – you’re still entered in the random drawing as long you followed the participation rules.

WHERE CAN I FOLLOW ALONG?!
Zehra will be posting videos to her IG story each day, showing you how to complete the workout for that day! There, you can ask her questions on workout modifications if you have had a previous injury or are a beginner.

At the very end of the challenge, Zehra will be posting all of her workout videos in-feed on her IG account for anyone who started later to go on and continue to follow along there.

BONUS WORKOUTS!
For those of you who want to go the extra mile or wanna feel the EXTRA burn, we’ve starred additional workouts on the workout photo that you can do at the end of each day to keep your stamina going!

IF YOU’RE JUST STARTING OUT!

Don’t put too much pressure on yourself! You don’t have to do these workouts perfectly, just try to do your best. If you’re not used to working out as often, like myself, feel free to modify your workouts to build up your strength! Push-ups are a perfect example – I can’t do one for the life of me, so I’ll definitely be modifying my push-ups by having my knees down to make it easier.
