Hellooooo United Kingdom! In case you haven’t heard the news yet – we’ve just opened our brand-new UK warehouse!

We know that customs and shipping charges from the U.S. have been especially hard on our UK fam, so we opened this new UK store and fulfillment center in order to bring you your favorite hijabs with faster, cheaper shipping and without any unpleasant customs surprises.

You may have some questions about how it all works. Read on to learn more!

Shipping is free on all orders over £50! Orders under £50 ship for a low flat rate of £5.

Your order will ship via Royal Mail for next day delivery!

Nope! Because your items ship from within the UK, VAT is already included. No more surprise customs charges at delivery!

Unfortunately no. In order to ensure that your order contains only items available in your warehouse, please make sure to shop and check out from the UK store. Orders placed to the UK via the US store may be subject to cancellation due to unavailability of stock.

If you are located in the UK and you go to www.hautehijab.com, a pop-up will automatically appear to welcome you into the UK store. Simply watch for this pop-up, then click the button that reads "Proceed to the UK store." You can also access the UK store directly by going to www.hautehijab.com/en-GB. A third option to allow you to adjust your country/currency is in the footer of the website. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of any page and click the flag icon to set your preferred country and currency.

At the moment, our UK store is exclusively for UK customers. This is the first time we’ve operated multiple warehouses, so we felt it would be most prudent to roll it out in steps. As we work out any issues that arise we hope to be able to open it up to other regions, such as the European Union.

At the present moment, we do not have plans to stock prints in the UK because they are sourced in limited quantities from deadstock fabrics. (More on how/why we source them this way here!) We’re not able to manufacture enough to supply two warehouses. Although we understand this will be disappointing to our UK print fans and are exploring ways to solve the issue in the future, we didn’t want that complication to stop us from bringing you the vast majority of our hijabs and accessories in a way that lets you receive them faster with less expensive shipping and without customs.
